Nothing says “welcome” like fresh, quality towels. The 6-piece Bath Towel and Washcloth Set from Modern Threads is 100% cotton, machine washable, and comes in a neutral taupe/brown color that coordinates with any bathroom. I keep these specifically for guests – it makes them feel special and keeps my personal towels, that we wear out more quickly, separate so that our guests have the best quality towels that we have on hand. I also use Norwex towels which are superior quality, quick drying, and last forever. Clear out that guest closet and stock it with the Amazon Basics Slim Velvet Non-Slip Hangers. This 30-pack in black and rose gold looks elegant and saves space. Bedroom Storage: Keep extra linens, pillows, and the deflated air mattress in a guest room closet or storage ottoman. This makes refreshing the room between visitors quick and simple.
Entertaining Supplies: Designate a cabinet or pantry shelf for your disposable entertaining items. Stack plates, cups, and utensils together so you can grab everything at once when hosting. I am sharing one that I just got a few weeks ago that contains all of my linens with the exception of tablecloths, paper plates, plasticware, and other disposables. Menus that I have made when I have hosted dinner parties that are a bit more upscale. Charcuterie serving pieces such as utensils and small bowls (not boards as I have some pretty large ones that would not fit and I like to keep them together). I really like it so far and it seems sturdy enough for what I am using it for. It’s very convenient having most of my hosting items in one location. I got another to contain and organize wrapping paper, ribbon, and wrapping supplies and it works beautifully. Be sure to read the measurements to ensure it will work for your needs.
